Scripture, read aloud
Every chapter of the Berean Standard Bible comes with a human narration — press play and listen. In translations without a narration, an AI voice reads the passage on your own device: the model runs in your browser and none of your text is uploaded. A pronunciation lexicon keeps biblical names right, the verse being read highlights as it goes, and a small player at the bottom of the screen keeps playing while you move around the app.

Read the Bible free at /read in the BSB, ESV, KJV, Hebrew, Greek, RVR, RVG, or BLA, in poetry or paragraph layout. The reader remembers the chapter you left off on. Select any words to highlight them, hand the chapter to the audio player with the Listen button, or open it as a study document with Study this chapter.

- Yes — all of it, for everyone. No plans, no upgrade wall. Donations from people who use it cover the server bills and fund what comes next.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to read. The reader at bibleboard.org/read is open to anyone, and a study someone shares with you opens from the link. You only need an account to create and save your own studies and mindmaps.
- What can I put in a study?
- Bible passages by reference — Berean Standard, ESV, King James, Greek, Hebrew, Reina-Valera, and Reina Valera Gomez — alongside headings, lists, quotes, callouts, tables, images, bookmarks, and file attachments.
- Can I study with other people?
- Yes. Share a link and choose whether it opens view-only or lets people edit. Everyone works in the same document at once, and you can see each other’s cursors as they move.
- Does it work on my phone?
- Yes. The editor is built for touch, with its own mobile toolbar and block controls rather than a shrunk-down desktop view. You can install BibleBoard to your home screen and open it like an app.
- What about my own documents?
- Upload a PDF commentary or study guide and you can ask questions about it and have themes, outlines, and cross-references pulled out for you.
